Considered the first sports journalist of Spain, he's a national figurehead. Santiago Coca Fernández stands out for his academic masterclass on sport. A teacher of teachers, he has given classes to a wide range of students, from university students to famous Spanish coaches such as Luis Aragonés, José Antonio Camacho, Jorge Valdano and Pep Guardiola. His words inspire rigour, value and accuracy, he says that "sport is very complex because it is performed by human beings. The complexity is the recognition of the fact that nothing in the world is simple".
